Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has rejected a €75m offer to Saudi Arabia side, Al Hilal.

According to a post by Fabrizio Romano on his X on Sunday, “Despite agreement between club to club with Napoli for €75m fee, Osimhen says no to the Saudi Pro League club. Galatasaray will insist on g him with the race now open again.”

Recall that, throughout his loan spell at Galatasaray, Osimhen has been instrumental in the team’s success, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances. His impressive performance has made him a fan favorite, and the club is optimistic about retaining him.

PUNCH Online reports that Al-Hilal were inching towards g Osimhen after increasing their offer to €75m to meet Napoli’s demands, and are looking to have the player’s medical soon, but with the latest development, Osimhen is yet to decide on his future.

If I was Osimen I would stay at Galatasaray where I've been crowned king and adored already.
He still has time he can go to Saudi in 4 years time and still shine.
Turkey pays well too. Ask Drogba

If Osimhen ignores Al Hilal's offer, with the huge pay to boot, then it should not be to go back to Galatasaray in the Turkish League that isn't a great deal better than the Saudi League.

He should hold out for a move to a top club in a top League where he may be able to win the Champions League.

Good choice if true.

He still needs to stay in Europe and play in elite competitions.

He’s still relatively at his prime.

Those asking him to go to Saudi because of money are just hungry people who only think with their stomach.

Saudi should be project 30+.

Indeed. He'll get at least £250k pounds sterling a week, or the equivalent anywhere in Europe, which is plenty of money.

Why not play in a top leg in Europe till like 31 or so, as you said, and win as much top honors as possible.

After that he can head to the Saudi League for a final pay day before retirment.

Liverpool possible. Especially as Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota are likely departing. Not too sure Real Madrid is feasible.

Players nearing retirement are now rejecting move to the Saudi league how much more a player in top form. Saudi should look for other ways to boost the ratings of their league, it's obvious throwing big money at European league players is no longer working

Bruno Fernandez rejected €100m deal to same team, does that make him a typical Portuguese?

Saudi league is for people nearing retirement not for a young guy like him. Money is never enough. He should pursue his future…. football future and talent instead

Where is the time? I hope you not going for the false age of this players.

Have you forgotten the likes of Iheanacho and Taiye Taiwo? You will find them wearing out faster than you can think.

You are saying it’s cool for Osimhen to turn down the £650,000 per week offer plus bonuses of Al hilal so as to get £250,000 pounds sterling a week, or the equivalent anywhere in a top league in Europe, which is plenty of money.

If Oshimen go to Camel League
He can kiss UCL goodbye
He can kiss Ballon dor goodbye

Camel is for those that want to retire early.
Look at Sadio mane. The guy just went quiet as if he no exist again.
Once a player move to Camel league. They dissappear and become irrelevant in the big arena of football.

250k pounds before or after tax?

Play till 31? Do you know his real age? Not football age.

Osimhen should stay back at a club where he's loved and practically worshipped- Galatasaray. He's too young to be moving for money. Everything isn't money. Build a great career in Europe because going to the Gulf in search of oil money.

Inhenacho didn't lie about his age nor did osimhen. They are of the post MRI generation.

Infact we even have proof that ihenacho did not lie. Osimhen too is peaking at the right level for someone his age. Assuming he was lying he probably won't have helped Napoli win the Serie A title.

Taye, allegedly, lied. But no definitive proof

But even then, players have differing levels of depreciation. None of Ronaldo's age mates are still playing. Rooney for example was gone by 33 years of age.

Osimhen issue is, he wants money. Too much money. Many clubs with UEFA looking more seriously at their finances and with eg the epl threatening penalties for losing too much money, or spending far too much...
