The first question I will ask is: are you ashamed of carrying physical paper Bible to Church? If you have electronic bible on your device, do you use it to Church because you are ashamed in carrying physical paper Bible or you just use it because of easy and convenience? Lastly, do you go to church totally without any form of Bible? If you feel carrying physical paper Bible will affect your swagger then you are ashamed of Jesus Christ. Please tell Jesus to forgive you for being ashamed of Him and for all sins you have committed, and let Him come into your life today in Jesus name. Amen. Happy Sunday to you. Visit a bible-believing church today. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Do not be ashamed of Jesus Christ. Ask your conscience the reason why you do not use physical paper Bible to church. If its for ease and convenience, then you may have a reason, but if it is because of your swag, friends, people e.t.c, then you are ashamed of Jesus Christ. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Paper is nothing technology has made the WORDS easily accessible for everyone to read what matters is having the information in your heart: “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Jeremiah 31:33 So do you belong to the house of Israel by faith? Matthew 10:6 Well there's nothing wrong in using your paper Bible but carrying it for show isn't Christlike rather that's what Pharisees does back then in the first century they make a little purse made of leather and tie it to their head for everyone to see that they are religious Jesus doesn't carry scrolls about what he encouraged his disciples to do is having God's word in their hearts because we walk by faith not by sight {2Corinthians 5:7} so that it's through our attitude observers will know that we are Christians {Act 11:26} not by displaying paper Bible! 12 Likes |

No, at least not the physical paper type. It’s bulky and seems like an unnecessary load. The phone app bible has become very convenient for me anytime any day.

Technology has made it so easy for us. Sometimes even if I'm with my bible in the church, instead of opening the bible I still bring out my phone and read through it. I hope this is not a sin 1 Like |

ebubeson: Still carry a Bible to church , though today, I carried my phone as I am coming in from work. As for carrying bible and being a Christian, keep in mind that the bible does not say you must carry a Bible to church to show you are a good Christian. The early christians did not have portable bibles in their day. Scripture was written on papyrus which was very expensive. It wasn't until the invention of modern printing in Europe in the 15th Century by Gutenberg and the arrival of mass education in Europe around the same time, as well as the Protestant reformation, that the concept of a personal bible became possible. Otherwise, the early.christians would have had an elder read scripture to them. Nothing like carrying bible to worship back then Bibles did not become cheap for the masses till the 18th century,if not after And if you carry bible to church but your heart is not right with God, you are a useless Christian Carrying bible is good, but there is the danger that by saying that not carrying bible to church means one is godless, is basically promoting salvation by works and not by grace through faith 1 Like 1 Share |

I used to take my tablet instead of the Bible... The Bible was for only when I was at home or for prayer meetings.

Huh? Why don't you find stone tablets and carry with you, since that's where the original Ten Commandments were written? Why don't you also carry Scrolls, where all scriptures were written? The world evolved from stone tablets to scrolls, to printing press, now to electronic. That's a problem?? 3 Likes 1 Share |

If you claim to be a believer and you do away with the bible , you are deceiving yourself . You cannot be more advanced by GOD and HIS Word. The Bible says Search the Scriptures! It didn't say punch the Scriptures. The Bible is your identity as a Believer. Else you are FAKE. MaxInDHouse: 1 Like |
