Isaac Fayos weighs in on the ongoing saga between Elon Musk and Donald Trump, claiming no African businessman could attempt what Elon is doing due to the lack of true freedom of expression.

His bold statement has sparked discussions on censorship, power, and free speech across the continent.

President Trump Vs Elon Musk can that happen in Africa? Can Dangote tell President Tinubu that he is ungrateful?? That he made him a President 😄🤣😮😮😮😮😮 or can a businessman tell Wike when he was a governor in Rivers State that he is ungrateful??
Hmmmmm….
Africa 😛😛 we have a long way to go…

I see Elon Musk contesting for president in 2028, I see him going back to the democratic party, I see him loosing in the primaries. I see Trump mocking him on Twitter, I see him giving Trump a permanent ban on Twitter.

This I have seen.

Elon is a psychopath. He is mentally unstable. Just look at him as Hitler of this time with better intentions. Hitler was extremely intelligent but mentally unstable so is Elon. I'm not surprised. I knew a fall out will happen between him and Trump but I never saw it coming so soon.

The reason is that in the west, leaders come to power to make positive impact, create jobs and make things better than they met it. There's a limit to the action Trump can take against Musk because he knows that Musk is the pride of America for being an extremely innovative billionaire who created tens of thousands of jobs and wealth in America and worldwide.

On the other hand, African leaders come to power to massage their egos and loot with reckless abandon. They don't care whether they create jobs or not. If you challenge them, they will introduce one policy that will see you return to your village broke or use security operatives to deal with you. That's why White South Africans argued, in the past, that black people have no business being in power.

Most African billionaires are politicians or related to politicians.

Elon Musk audacity came from his closeness to Trump and his connections in Silicon Valley not freedom of expression.

Mark Zuckerberg can't try it.

Everything must be a competition to these embeciles..

So if something is done in the west, should be a worldwide yardstick and should be replicated by all.

Dis 70 year old man and cho-cho-cho everywhere! Who told you that Elon Musk would not suffer for his utterances against the POTUS especially one as vengeful as Donald Trump? Someone that would soon be deported to South Africa together with of his family that were recently moved in? Money is absolutely useless against someone who has Power, why do you think your so called politicians are still looking for bigger positions after stealing billions of dollars? Elon is gonna learn and he's gonna learn the hard way why it is common-sense to be diplomatic when dealing with someone in a place of power/authority.

Just like Wike. If it didn't favour him...everyone turns to an enemy.

Trump went to middle east and got investment worth trillions of dollars and you expect him to stop the production of petrol cars?

Cos of Elon he put Tariff on China to weaken their EV production and sales and still he's not satisfied. He wants to take over all the business in the world...tiktok, AI, Internet, EV cars etc. That's pure greed.

Saying he helped Trump to win election...pure lies...Trump will always win the Democrats. He's controlling elections all over Europe right now

It's not very smart thing to say. African men are not the richest man in the world, they don't control the social media, they don't have the money to openly and install president. After it's said and done, Elon is an African man.
His case is simply different/unique, not because of his origin, tribe or religion.

Elon in this case is way powerful than trump, he has a megaphone that could make the US economy take a hit which will impact the way of life of the average joe. Any president is weaker domestically because of our institutions.

Is this not the same Fayose that dismantled the roof-sheets and doors of his tenants in Abuja simply because of misunderstanding he had with his tenants.

Yes, it should be, if it is worth practicing, and this is worth practicing.
From where do you want to compare yourself with the west that you can't emulate the good things they do.
If what the west do is Worth doing everywhere in the world, what stops us doing same here?

That's why it is called saner climes. In Africa the courts answer to the president and he can use them to cripple you.
