UK-based Nigerian woman, Uloma Nwogu, has recounted a distressing experience involving the father of her children, whom she claims reappeared after years of absence and attempted to use her as a route into the United Kingdom.


Uloma revealed in a post on Facebook that she relocated to the UK two years ago with her children after raising them alone for six years. She described the journey as both physically and mentally draining, stating that the stress of single-handedly raising children in a foreign land led to her developing high blood pressure.

According to Uloma, the children’s father resurfaced in January this year through a Facebook message, expressing a sudden desire to reconnect with the children.

After a series of conversations, he proposed to be included in her visa application and, in return, offered to reimburse her for the children’s school fees from the past six years.

If his intentions were pure, he would not claim he was scammed of "visa fees" and go and arrest the mother of his ex-wife..for refunding the school fees of his own children as he had clearly indicated when he was given her the money.
