Wikes new quarrel is with his Yesterday best friend and G5 Makinde
The sooner they suspend this man for blatant anti party activities the better for PDP
A member who is glaring trying to pull a political party down and the political party is still holding meetings with him and g agreements
If PDP cannot discipline Wike, then they should never win any election in Nigeria again, they should just dissolve that party as it is a source of fraudulent politicians gaining power and decamping thereby betraying the electorate while the party that should discipline its elected and reiterate its governance program looks the other way
HOebi will be disciplined first for hobnobbing with Atiku without approval from the LP National Chairman Abure.
1. Since after the 2023 General election, the PDP has been wantonly swinging from one part of a slippery precipice to another, owing fundamentally to dishonesty and lack of trust amongst its key stakeholders.
To stem this ugly trend, efforts have been made to arrest this pernicious virus of dishonesty and treachery and enthrone fidelity to agreements with a view to stabilizing the party and moving it forward.
2. To this end, a meeting of the G5 was held in Lagos. In that meeting, I made it clear to the Governor of Oyo State, HE. Seyi Makinde, that he was the architect of our problems, pointing out to him that non-adherence to agreements reached was the bane of the party, and that he was the chief culprit of this anomaly.
At the end of the meeting, we resolved to bury the hatchet and make progress.
3. As a follow-up to the aforementioned meeting, there was an expanded meeting in Abuja involving HE. Seyi Makinde, HE. Umaru Fintri, HE. Bala Mohammed, HE, Bukola Saraki, and I in Saraki’s guest house.
In that meeting, I made it clear that I had no personal problems with HE. Bala Mohammed, except that he hides under the facade of Chairman of PDP Governors Forum to serially renege on agreements. Tensions rose mightily in the meeting and it took all concerned to calm frayed nerves.
At the end of the meeting, we came to some resolutions, including:
a. That Senator Samuel Anyanwu remains the National Secretary of the PDP in tandem with the Supreme Court judgement.
b. All legal matters relating to Rivers State must be withdrawn by the National Legal Adviser.
c. The suit on the State of emergency be withdrawn forthwith.
d. Nobody should deviate from the agreements so reached.
In the light of the foregoing, they pleaded with me to attend the stakeholders’ meeting at the Bauchi Government Lodge, regardless of my many engagements.
I attended the meeting and clearly reiterated my earlier concerns, and to this end and in order to resolve all other lingering and pending issues, a committee was formed, headed by HE. Bukola Saraki.
4. It is disheartening to note that even before the Bukola Saraki Reconciliation Committee began its work, the gentleman’s agreement we reached at Saraki’s Guest House was already being crudely violated.
To my chagrin, Seyi Makinde had connived with Peter Mba of Enugu State to orchestrate the summoning of the meeting of so-called South-East leaders to recommend that if Ude Okoye was not adopted as Secretary, they would pull out of the PDP.
I have since granted an interview to the effect that, that resolution of the South-East leaders can not hold.
Again, Seyi Makinde organized some people in the National Secretariat to insist that the Deputy National Secretary should act as National Secretary, in violation of the agreement earlier reached.
To attempt to give credence to this farce, a letter was written by the Deputy National Secretary, calling for a meeting of the NEC of the party.
Furthermore, the letter confirming the candidacy of the Governorship candidate of the party in the forthcoming Governorship elections in Anambra State, duly signed by the National Secretary, Senator Anyanwu and the acting National Chairman, was portrayed as rejected by the party through a rebuttal letter signed by the National Publicity Secretary, acting on the orders of Seyi Makinde and Peter Mba.
All these actions are in complete violation of the agreements reached and would not do the party any good whatsoever. On the 24th of May 2025, in Jos, for instance, a well publicized and properly attended zonal elective congress of the PDP was aborted because the letter inviting INEC to the congress was signed by the Deputy National Secretary of the party.
INEC refused to attend because the proper signatory recognized by law, that is Senator Samuel Anyanwu was not a signatory to the invitation notice. This is undeniably distasteful, provocative and annoying, to say the least.
5. I have painstakingly put out all these facts so that PDP and the general public would know the truth. I have been in this party since 1998 and have worked tirelessly for the survival of this party with all my strength and it is on record that none of these persons have done anything close to what I have done to sustain this party.
What is more painful is that I contributed substantially to most of these governors winning their elections, yet I have not made any personal demands on any of them and I would never do so.
Most importantly, I had thought that we could keep the trust amongst us, but since it is now obvious that they would continue to play games to the detriment of the party, as is the case in the current debacle in the North-Central zonal elections, I have now firmly decided to pull out of all agreements hitherto reached.
I have decided to fight on until justice is attained.

This is a complete and arrogant display of selfishness. Wike should leave PDP or PDP should expel him. Enough of this nonsense. Supreme Court said party leadership and position is the internal responsibility of the party and not the courts. S'East Zone of PDP have made their choice and have communicated same to the party and Wike is saying it can't stand, isn't this madness.
I have said this constantly,if Wike is all that PDP need to stand, may the party die and never stand.
PDP have men that can sponsor the party's affairs, but the arrogance of Wike has kept them away from it. Let Damagum prepare the coffin for the party's burial. Enough is Enough.
PDP is an expired party. Party that didn't think that such a day would come that they would be struggling for survival.
With these nonsens-se that I've just read here, Umo Eno is 100 percent justified to leave the sinking ship. Who in his right sense would stay to contest elections in such a disaster that's already happening?
When PDP had the chance to build institutions and make the nation great, they were busy building their mansions and their families. PDP was akin to military fiat. Yet, they were saying "power to the people".
And then their scion the Aggrieved People's Concerns came out of them to finish Nigerians all and all. And I tell them to learn from the fig tree. One day, their own day will come. One day the Aggrieved People's Concerns will be struggling for survival. In this very country.
PDP used to boast that they will govern Nigeria for 100 years. Now where are they?
I like the way that everyone is defecting to the Aggrieved People's Concerns so that when they want to split, the divide will be deep. I would even love all the parties to first merge into the Aggrieved People's Concerns before they divide into 2, so we can now have a system where opposition will work. For now, let them have fun and know that what befell "Power to the People" can and certainly will befall "Change".
As Gov Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom said it, they're all the same.
1. Didn't expect it (but highly suspected it before now) that there would be a fracture so soon among the G5 governors, goes to prove yet again that for these politicians there are no permanent friends or enemies, just permanent interests. Looks like GSM is angling for VP under GBM.
2. Now that Gov Wike has raise the war alert level to Defcon 4 expect plenty fireworks and roforofo (subterfuge), I just hope GSM is ready for the fight
3. I honestly don't understand this madness, Sen Anyanwu's term is expected to end around sometime in September or thereabout, why not just cool down let him finish and then bring someone else? Do these men have such overbloated egos that they are willing to bring the PDP house down on themselves - someone kindly educate me!
It is very clear from HE Nyesom Wike that PDP is being manipulated by some northern forces projecting their ambitions for 2027. Atiku should stop manipulating makinde and the pdp that is the bedrock of the political crisis. His ambition to get the pdp ticket in 2027 will end up being the destruction of pdp in 2027 elections. Supreme court has ruled that anyawu is the secretary and it should be adhered to regardless of any feelings. Pdp in shambles, labour party in shambles, opposition is dead as it is.
It. Shouldn't take any sensible person to see the bigger hand of a powerful person in all this drama .
Seyi makinde and Wike are both working for the same person and the objective is to weaken and destroy PDP . They are doing a fantastic job at it . They have created 2 warring factions that have decided not to listen to each other or compromise ,so Na like dis pdp go die .

Atiku cannot manipulate Seyi makinde .rule that out of it
The end game of all this is to make PDP present a very weak candidate and that is even if they are able to . And secondly to make PDP look very unattractive to any serious politicians wishing to contest any elections . No wonder their senators and reps and also governor's are defecting on a daily basis .
TheChameleon:
Tinubu will instruct Wike not to defect..but to eat PDP from inside like a termite.
PDP should have owned up, cut their losses and suspended him a long time ago.
Atiku was afflicted with Yoruba Jazz - shishe shishe. ERROR upon Blunder, you wouldn't be able to stop.
His situation is being 10-0 up in World Cup Final and still losing with 5 minutes to go.
Buhari had been the worst President by far... Tinubu was running on Muslim-Muslim. Yet Atiku managed to lose.
Post party primaries Tinubu visited EVERY contestant including those with zero vote. Atiku started fighting instead of placating.
You APC guys should stop writing as if Tinubu was able to placate all the contestants in the primaries. It's Amaechi not against Tinubu till today? What of Osinbajo and Lawan?
The basic difference is that Wike was and still feels entitled to PDP out of pure arrogance while the other APC contestants had no choice but to accept their loss with equanimity

Thankfully for him, justice has been attained for his help in making ebilokan possible.
anonimi: 2023: PDP and politics of healing Wike’s self-inflicted injury
Then, the race began in earnest for three years now, reaching a frenzy with the works of the two PDP committees on zoning. The first was the Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi committee on the zoning of the PDP party offices. The Ugwuanyi committee quickly told the world the committee’s assignment did not cover zoning the office of the president. Though this was true, the question is: why didn’t the Ugwuanyi committee zone the PDP chairmanship to the North without aligning it to the divide that would produce the PDP presidential flag-bearer? The second committee headed by Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state was specifically on the zoning of the presidential ticket and, with the votes of the representatives of all the 17 Southern states without any exception, the Committee unanimously recommended throwing open the PDP presidential ticket, which the PDP NEC simply upheld.
One thing irrefutably stands out – Wike shot himself in the leg. Here was a man who had an overarching influence on both committees but could not insist that the ticket be zoned South. Many had wondered why? The reason is also relatively in plain sight: the Southeast factor. As the clamour for zoning of the presidential ticket of the PDP to South reached its crescendo, many had pointed out the fact that though the PDP Constitution had prescribed zoning of the office of the president to be between North and South since the South-west and South-south had taken their turns in producing the president and the vice in this current dispensation in the persons of Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, zoning this time around, should not just be to the South but the Southeast.
Atiku Abubakar went a step further by offering to step down from the race if it would be agreed that the touted zoning to the South would mean micro-zoning to the Southeast. Wike and the rest could not take the Atiku challenge maybe because Atiku would likely back Peter Obi, who was his vice-presidential running mate in 2019 and an ally. The prospects of Peter Obi picking the ticket if PDP zoned South was so real compelling Wike to go for an open contest, believing he could pick it up ahead of Atiku, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed, given his large war chest.

Says a man who hijacked the party and singlehandedly produced the last 4 National Chairmen of the party for his own selfishness.
Says a man who accepted nomination to be running mate to Fulani Atiku.
He knew it was injustice to give Atiku the ticket yet he lobbied to be the VP.
He knew the party had to go South for the 2023 election, yet he still put Secondus as National Chaiman just to hijack the party.
Only to push Secondus out because he wanted the ticket 2023.
This man remains the biggest problem of PDP.
He can only deceive and fool his minions, not reasonable people.

Maxymilliano:
1. Crisis Originated Before 2023:
Wike’s claim that the PDP crisis began after the 2023 elections is misleading. His fallout with the party following the 2022 presidential primaries and his role in undermining the PDP presidential candidate laid the groundwork for disunity well before the polls.
2. Personalization of Party Politics:
Wike has consistently personalized party affairs, often acting unilaterally and sidelining institutional processes. His blame of others—such as Governors Seyi Makinde and Peter Mbah—obscures his own role in destabilizing consensus-building within the PDP.
3. The G5's Role in Division:
The G5 governors, led by Wike, exacerbated divisions by publicly opposing the PDP’s presidential ticket and aligning with opposition interests. Their actions fractured party and weakened the PDP’s electoral prospects in key states.
4. National Secretary Issue Is Legal, Not Political:
While Senator Samuel Anyanwu’s legal status as National Secretary is backed by the courts, his simultaneous gubernatorial ambitions raised legitimate concerns about focus and conflict of interest. Wike politicized these concerns rather than addressing them constructively.
5. North-Central Congress Failure:
Wike’s claim that the Jos congress was sabotaged by party officials ignores the confusion caused by parallel instructions and his own interference. INEC’s refusal to attend was due to procedural irregularities, not internal sabotage.
6. Ultimatums Undermine Unity:
Wike’s decision to withdraw from previously agreed peace resolutions reflects political immaturity. Resolving party crises requires compromise and dialogue, not threats or walkouts.
7. No One Is Bigger Than the Party:
Wike’s assertion that he has done more than any other member to sustain the PDP is dismissive of the collective efforts of millions of party faithful. The party’s legacy belongs to all, not to one individual’s contributions or influence.
8. Call for Institutional Rebuilding:
To recover, the PDP must move beyond personal power struggles. All stakeholders must recommit to internal democracy, credible reconciliation mechanisms, and the strengthening of party institutions over individual egos.
Conclusion:
The way forward for the PDP lies in inclusive leadership, respect for agreements, institutional reform, and collective vision, not in unilateral declarations or personality driven politics.

Does he think he can port to APC with this kind of attitude?
Of course he's free to port if he chooses to.
Don't forget that his contribution in of finances, influence and most importantly, delivery of territory will go a long way in securing a valuable position in APC!
Trust me, APC wants him but he's not a man to be cajoled. If he wants to do sth, he will do it and heaven will not fall. Haters will only make noise and keep quiet as they've always done since they don't call the shots.

E dey cry wey nobody beat am.
He is lying with a straight face. SC never reinstalled Anyanwu.
He must not have it his way all the time.
Why must he take both Chair and Sec?
The SE has that, so must he decide for them?
That is the problem, encroaching into another zone to decide for them, but he doesn't want anybody to interfere in Rivers.

Thank you, that is what most people don't understand . All these stories Wike is saying is all part of their well rehearsed plot. Soon makinde too will come out to state his own version. Then the party will be polarised into two groups . They will be like that till 2027. By that time noone will even take their serious anymore . All these stage fighting Na political game. I'm not even surprised .
What did Nigerians benefit from PDP rule,if not corruption, election rigging and negligence, they couldn't even complete their headquarters for the whole of sixteen years they spent on the throne.
The money we made from the oil boom where is it today. They latter resulted to borrowing money to pay salaries after squandering the money.
The resolution agreed were all in his favour , yet he is not satisfied .
He will tinubu in 2027 ,even If pdp present a jesus christ .
Wike is not anti-pdp. He sustained the party when the people fighting for the tickets all took flight and were only present when elections were around the corner. But he stayed and sustained the party and he still does up till date. This is why it's been difficult for the party to suspend him despite working for the ruling party.
I am not his fan but the fact that I don't like someone doesn't mean I would discredit his efforts and genuine intentions.
What I think he hates and which I hate too is that when we all have a meeting and we have agreements, if it's not okay by you, say it right there and let's discuss it. We might be able to see things from your own perspective and we iron things out maybe by shifting grounds and reaching compromise.
But we have agreements and you leave and are doing something else, completely different from what we agreed!
I would pull out completely and will forever find it difficult to trust you again.
And this is why God himself will need to intervene before PDP can come back to power at the center.
