There are many interesting stories in the Bible that, if writers and producers can give them some creative liberties, it is a billion-dollar niche on its own. Those wars in the Bible, especially the era of Kings, will be as if you are watching Lord of the Rings + Game of Thrones.

We will begin to see these stories in cinema from now till year 2030+.

I've thought about this same thing for a while now. Instead of giving us the repetitive nonsense, they should have just tapped into the Bible for ideas. Though I know the Catholic church will flip their lid, if Hollywood decides to get creative with the Bible. I how the Catholic church disown the movie Noah. Lol.

A Cacophony of Suffering and Solace

I wasn’t immediately sold on this, I thought it would be the usual trope of medical dramas: different cases per episode, with some interwoven outside drama involving the medical staff. But this one came with a twist, it focused solely on patient care and the ensuing emotional toll on the medical staff.

At the heart is Dr. Robby, portrayed spectacularly by Noah Wyle. A veteran doctor haunted by past struggles that often plague medics. His performance was so good, striking a delicate balance between emotional detachment and personal vulnerability.

The series distances itself from others in the genre through its auditory choices. There’s basically no score, no sombre music, only the beeping of monitors and the hurried footsteps of medical staff racing from bed to bed, trying to save lives. It was shot in a near single-shot style, with each of the 15 episodes representing one high-octane hour in the emergency room. All of this added to the immersive experience and realism of the show.

Maann, I don’t envy doctors and other medics o. They have one of the toughest jobs on earth. They’re literally one good decision away from saving a life or one bad one from losing it. How do they even sleep? That’s why I wholly detest how they’re treated in this country.

This is not a comfort show, it’s as real as it gets. And I loved it. HBO MAX (or whatever they’re called these days 🤭) totally cooked with this one!

It's like I'll only be watching series that has been concluded now, it's painful getting invested in a series only for it to get cancelled.

Just finished watching season 3 and was looking forward to season 4, only to see this.

These people would rather spend money on rubbish like Ring of Power.

The fact this shittt lasted more than one season is honestly an embarrassment. They cancelled Inside Job for this nonsense where they had kids having séx.

Firstly, it is an adult film and not meant for kids just like Family Guy but the only problem I had with it was the LGBT. I stopped watching after two episodes. Family Guy is still the best, teaches moral and core family values, and with parent advisory you can allow your child to watch Family Guy.
