Keep quiet already.

Why will the SE not ranked low when you people keep exporting your poverty to the SW and other regions everyday through night bus?

Do you know the number of poor igbos that migrate to the SW everyday? I am not talking of just lagos state o.

At times i wonder if there are still youth
training in that your region.

For your information, about 80% of Igbo in the SW for the high rank of poverty in that region and even the north west region that is ranked the highest.

In sw shithole you can see a professor doing taxi driver. Many SW shitholes can not boast of 4 or 5 story buildings by individual. A place majority are transport union workers from ilorin,Oshogo, ibadan ekiti etc.The majority of rich ones have fled to lagos because of fear of being killed with juju. You women are all over SE,SS selling herbal medicines and plastics
Your ugly and smelly girls selling moi moi.My eye no fit talk watin I see in all those shitholes. The igbos you see in those shitholes don't have enough capital to compete in many SE states.Mention on igbo billionaire leaving in any of those shitholes beside lagos. A place majority survive from salaries as civil servants

How come it's those that have produced the most Presidents that are the poorest?

This your question get as e be but not surprise coming from you.
Ndi Igbo are hustling more than others that is why poverty rate is better in SE than any other region it have nothing to do with where the president comes from.

Ogidi kor,Ojuju ni.
Igbos that don't know much about business except cocaine will import what they don't understand.
SW is where the highest number of buildings are being built especially Lagos and this is why it had the largest markets of building materials dominated mainly by Yorubas in Owode onirin,Pelewura,Lagos Island,Orile etc.
The SE had scanty houses compared to the SW where most Igbos have fled to because of poverty in Igboland.
Google about ogidi international building materials Market and stop exposing your ignorant.

SE has the biggest building materials Market in West Africa, not just Nigeria. They have the highest number of building especially multi story building in their cities like Aba, onitsha, Enugu, Owerri etc. Their villages are the most developed. They top in Human development index.

Your SW is nothing but a brown roof mud house slum littered everywhere. Even, your lagos you used to brag is a slum. Only the island part is developed. The mainland is a big slum.

What is the name of the steel village?

Even in PH,the steel market there is dominated by Yorubas.
Igbos,Hausas or any other ethnic groups do not deal in steel but just a handful of them.
Lagos has the biggest steel markets in Nigeria and they are 95% dominated by Yoruba.

Everybody knows the sectors Igbos dominate in Nigeria. The sectors Yoruba dominate are very much more than where Igbos dominate.

Igbos do not have business acumen but they will still argue.
It is cocaine that had been the pillar of most Igbo businesses people. Not all o.
I have lived amongst Igbos for a long time.

Keep deceiving yourself. The steel village along AbA-PH road is the biggest in west Africa.
There is nothing like yorouba here. Stop typing out of ignorance.

You’re not sharp..

This stats is proportional to the population of each region..

Oyo state alone is almost the population of SE which makes SW a region with higher population than SE. Numbers would always be different. Besides that, are Igbos not among the poor counted people in the west? As in, they didn’t count poor Ibo people in the west or all the Ibos in the west are rich?

NE is number one because of high population only. It doesn’t mean Ibos are richer than Hausa/Fulani..

If not stupidity, you would have known that an average Igbo in Lagos state is well to do. Infact Lagos state is where igbos have the highest number of their wealthiest individuals in Nigeria.

So instead of what you said, the truth is the other way round. It was the wealthy Igbos that were counted in Lagos and other south western states that made you people to even come third. Minus the countered igbos and you might be dragging position with north west.

Olodo.Illiterate trader.
You don't even understand what building materials are.
Where do they sell iron rods, woods etc in Odunade?
Odunade is dominated by Igbos.
Odunade deals mostly in toiletries, water engines etc and most of them buy from Doyin group of companies who import them whose coy is on the other side opposite the taxi park,Coker express..

Even in your SE,Yoruba dominate building materials market. They are the importers and producers (together with the Chinese) in Nigeria.

Though I am saddened by the fact that poverty levels all over Nigeria is on the rising and it's on record high, south east is benefiting from cultural re-orientation they had shortly after they experience of the civil war, they people are more ambitious, determined, show tenacity of purpose, puts in manifold efforts in things they engage in,knowing that the government hardly cares about them.
This led them into massive commerce, entertainment, sports, educational revolution, exploration of the outer world and this is paying off. While some others whom are used to freebies from government may be gnashing their teeths, the igbos galvanise themselves, using apprenticeships system to help poor families in the region.
This is same reason the southeast remains the most developed rural area in sub saharan Africa.

Talk is cheap.
Yoruba don't make mouth.
They come with facts.
It is only a coward that makes mouth or talks without action.

I will accept all what you have said if you can post 9 good places in the entire Igboland.

I will post 30 good places in Ibadan that will shame whatever you post..

Post if you have the balls which I know you don't have because of shame.

You can only hate the Igbos you can't destroy them fact

Clearly you don't understand mathematics, if you do you will realise that percentage in this analysis is percentage relative to the total population of Nigeria.

SE have the lowest population in Nigeria, so it is not surprising that it also have the lowest population of people living in abject poverty

Here’s the population distribution of Nigeria's six regions as percentages:

| Region | Population (millions) | Percentage (%) |
|------------------|-----------------------|----------------|
| North-West | 48.9 | 25.9% |
| South-West | 38.5 | 20.4% |
| North-Central | 29.2 | 15.5% |
| South-South | 28.8 | 15.2% |
| North-East | 26.2 | 13.9% |
| South-East | 21.9 | 11.6% |

Now if you want a true picture of the poverty rate in each region..you will take the total population figure from this table, divide it by the percentage in thae statisense post to arive at actual population of people living in poverty

You will then divide the poverty population for each region by the total population of each region, that is what will give you the true rate.

That shouldn't be a difficult calculation for you.

If you do that you will probably come up with this true rate

Here’s a summary of poverty rates across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones based on available data:

| Region | Poverty Rate (%) |
|------------------|------------------|
| North-West | 76.8% |
| North-East | 70.2% |
| North-Central | 42.6% |
| South-East | 27.4% |
| South-South | 25.2% |
| South-West | 19.3% |

The North-West has the highest poverty rate, while the South-West has the lowest.

South East= 1.53/100 ×22,000,000 = 336,600

South West = 3.81/100 × 48,900,000= 1,855,470

48.9÷ 21.9= 2.23

So multiplying the poor in the South East by 2.23 to equate with the population in the south west = 336,600 × 2.23= 750,618

So if the SE and SW had the same population of 48.9 million,

The south east would have 750,618 poor people
The south west would have 1,855,470 poor people.... 2 and 1/2 times that of the SE.

Make una rest... you can't match the SE..
