IBB is called MARADONA and he still wants to dribble his way into his grave by telling all kinds of lies upon lies upon lie. One astonishing statement he made in his book about the 1966 coup was the exoneratiing the Chief Coupist as being more of a Northern, "HAUSA" with just an Igbo name Kaduna Nzeogwu, shifts IBB's argument and opinion to the question that if he will agree that the Coup was a Hausa Coup?!

This book is full of lies ,I now agreed ! It’s as worthless as anything you can think off.I think I now understand babagindas state of mind now to fraudulently unite people after all he’s one of the major benefactor of the his heinous crime!Maradona style double-speak,” noting that in “one breath, he took responsibility for annulling June 12,” while also shifting blame to the late General Sani Abacha, who served as his Chief of Army Staff.

She said, “It is indeed ridiculous that Babangida would stoop to accusing a dead man of such a heinous crime, knowing full well that the accused can never defend himself.

“It is indeed ridiculous that Babangida, as the Commander-in-Chief of that junta, could descend so low to accuse a dead man of such a heinous crime, knowing fully well that the accused would forever remain silent.

“Has Babangida forgotten that as the Head of State, he had the power to sack Abacha if, indeed, the latter had threatened the people’s mandate given to Abiola?

“Has IBB forgotten that his so-called transition to the civil room programme was not only long and winding but also full of booby traps?”

According to Odumakin, it was clear that Babangida’s transition programme was not designed to hand power over to a democratic government.

I can see that you conveniently jumped the 2nd paragraph that negated your point of view, and move on to underline the 3rd paragraph.

You are so intent on showing us that the Igbos are not complicit in killing all the top officers and politicians from other regions except their own, that you went with your microscope to come up with this your cut and paste evidence.

The important evidence out there is?

How come no Igbo TOP politician or Military personnel died in the coup?

How come Ironsi, an Igbo man and a major beneficiary of the coup, how come he didn't prosecute anyone , for one of the bloodiest coup in the country's history, even though he have most of the perpetrators in prison.

An Igbo , Hausa or Yoruba man, is not by just the language the person speaks, but by the mindset, mentality and culture that the person inherits and projects.

That is why we have so many 'Developers' in Lagos, who can speak Yoruba better than Igbo and yet their mindset is completely Igbo.

Which Issues? I don't understand. That Abacha annulled the Election and not him despite being the President, Head of State commander of the Nigerian armed forces?!

I think someone of his character is too slow maybe. Provided he had them in custody there case would have still be revisited again. But proper investigation had to be carried out

If you say he his playing maradona on something he can keep mute and nothing will happen. All I see is IBB testimony aligns with the old soldiers then.

There is nothing to gain for him if he lies

You mean 6 months, was too short for Ironsi to send the people to trial?

This people killed the prime minister of the country and his wife, killed the premier of of every region except the SE, and they were arrested and kept in prison, where according to some ther were still flexing like people outside.

It was also said at that time, that Igbos were making fun of the northerners for all that 6 months, some even said most of Ironsi cabinet, were Igbos like himself.

How does it align?! If IBB's opinion is that Kaduna Nzwegu is more of Hausa than Igbo why wasn't he able to rally Hausa Fulani Soliders as fellow coup plotters?!

Another question is, the counter coup was by Soliders mainly from which region?! And why?!

Yoruba lies caused the distrust north have against south east

What Hausa Fulani got in 2006 would be child's play

When una done preach hate against Igbos to una satisfaction please act on it let's see if what central Africa republic did to Fulanis won't be child's play

My only issue with Igbo haters is that they are cowards, they hide behind Faceless forums and say their mind but can't do anything in real life

If he can as a hausa. And also commands battalion at the north. Even I read he was difficult due to the command he easily had in the north. And it's truth aside from his name he easily as hausa. So this question does not hold. He alone can't execute without his boys who will be also hausa. The counter coup was said to be an igbo person. The hatred stem up that after their agreement top personnel were not executed in the Eastern territory as expected.

The picture you are not seeing is the BETRAYAL if the North, Hausas actually accepted him as one of theirs but went ahead to shed the blood of their most beloved in cold blood without being able to convince a single Hausa Army to him in the murder. Except his fellow Igbos.

The right name is " it was a military coup" because soldiers from different regions participated.

So it's good to correct the false assertions and perception against the Igbo nation and apologize.

Nigeria need peace more especially at this time.

If it wasn't an Igbo coup the counter coup would have had Igbos as participants and not mainly a Northern extraction.

It is because it was a Igbo coup that is the reason why we had an aftermath called BIAFRAN WAR. It is simple Logic and very straightforward.

Some of you here are just wasting your time agueing with yorubas.

These guys were raised with Igbophobia

They can never accept the news because IBB did not say what they want to hear.

When i say Igbos should know their real enermy, i didn't just say that without observation. I have observed all the tribes in Nigeria and can tell you that yorubas have hereditary issue and hate for Igbo by nature.

Some Igbo that keep investing in their region are just foolish and don't know their left from right.

Do you think they hate Obi in person? NO. They hate Obi's tribe in general.
