This tribe cant even pick the leader of their socio-politucal group without quagmire and they feel Igbo leadership is best for Nigeria. Give them senate president again and watch jump into the ring for fight after fight, impeaching each other.... Now their own election, by themselves, for themselves didn't favor a few and they blame the Yoruba man.... Hhhmmmmm 11 Likes 4 Shares |

Ohaneze or not, in anything selection/election, external forces must try their best to influence it to their own advantage. After Gov. Seyi Makinde announced the new Alafin of Oyo, people have been lamenting that the governor used veto power to pick the new king, while some people are happy because they believe the Fulani through Ilorin emirate are trying to influence the position to put their puppet. So it possible Tinubu influenced the Ohaneze Ndigbo election to have someone that will be on his side. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

helinues: Immediately Tinubu congratulated Mbata through Bayo Onanuga, we saw the 'monkey's hand in the pot of soup'. Every sane person knows that APC wants to destroy Ohaneze. Ndigbo your real Ohaneze president is Barr. Okwukwu, he is more Pro-Igbo than Mbata, that's why Tinubu and APC brought Mbata to divide-and-rule you people. I have never heard of him till few days ago. Hold on tightly to Barr. Okwukwu. He is your true leader and cannot be compromised. Mbata is a politician and could sell your future away. Helinues you can bury your head in the sand and open more useless thread on this issue. We know where you are coming from. ![]() 4 Likes 1 Share |

Dalohad: When would you people ever take responsibility for your own actions? Was it president Tinubu who appointed the Ohaneze election officers that conducted the election? Is this the first time Ohaneze will be having fractional group? Was it president Tinubu that influenced the previous Ohaneze election which produce 2 factions? Only a failure blame others for his misfortunes 7 Likes 3 Shares |

helinues:Its true Tinubu did. I am currently in my home state, and was with a prominent Ohanaeze member who happens to be on the side of Former IGP Mike Okiro. There was a last minute intervention from Presidency that Presidency have endorsed someone, which followed the court order, hence the reason Mike Okiro formally withdrew from the context without a fight. For your info, Mike Okiro comes from a community called Egbema who were originally in Imo state but during OBJ boundary adjustment, Egbema an oil rich community was divided, some (the major part of the community that had most of the crude oil sites) were put in Rivers while some remained in Imo state. Mike Okiro's part went to Rivers and he has been using Rivers state as his state of origin even when he was appointed IG of Police. Suddenly a court order emerged ruling that he is from Imo state, and followed by an order from Presidency. Tinubu is very good in politics no doubt. Tinubu knows Wike is an untrustworthy politician so desperate to get to Presidency, so Tinubu is making sure he clips his wings in Rivers State without telling Wike while giving him power to deliver Abuja for him in 2027. The 2027 political game has already began in earnest 2 Likes |

helinues:lol You won't understand, what you don't know, you don't know. I am too big to be telling fabricated stories of this nature. I repeat, I am with a prominent Ohaneze member, a close uncle, who was a right hand man of late Ohanaeze President General Chief Iwuanyanwu that died last year. He is on the side of former IG of Police Mike Okiro, they know the game that played and there is nothing they can do cos Mike Okiro was once an IG of Police and understands the power Nigeria's President wields in Nigeria, reason he didn't put up a fight after the court ruling that he is from Imo state while he has been using Rivers state as his state of origin even when he was appointed IG of Police many years back. Tinubu does not need to like or hate Igbos before he does something that will favor his political ambition in 2027. Tinubu knows that he has lost a lot of from the North so he is working hard to replace some lost Northern from other regions like Southeast. Another family member who is close to Enugu State Governor also made us understand that come 2027 Enugu Governor Peter Mbah will be working for Tinubu, they already have the agreement sealed and he informed Tinubu that he wouldn't want to decamp to APC so that it wont be difficult for him to win reelection in 2027 and Tinubu accepted his stand and promised to work with him irrespective of him being in opposition party PDP. Gbaja is the key man in the arrangement. So Tinubu playing a role in the Ohanaeze leadership election has nothing to do with Tinubu loving or hating Igbos, its purely for his own political gains and for 2027, Tinubu is smarter than you his online keyboard warriors making more enemies for him than friends 2 Likes |

Ohaneze never take responsibility for their failure. It's embarrassing to ever think Tinubu influence their election. 1. Ohaneze is not only sociopolitical group in Nigeria.we have Afenifere, Arewa, Ijaw among others. Why always them. 2. This is not the first time they are fictionalised. Disunity is always in their blood. 3 Likes 1 Share |

muykem:You guys are being emotional about this. Politics in Nigeria has nothing to with emotion, the politicians play it ruthlessly for their own personal gains. The reason every Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership election get externally influenced by federal powers is because Igbos don't have any other powerful umbrella body that can help the federal power brokers to penetrate Southeast, so they always believe albeit wrongly that Ohanaeze Ndigbo have an influence and hence they try to influence the leadership to their side, hence the reason for the factions. Unlike Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas that have many influencers that control the Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba people respectively; Sultan of Sokoto, Emir of Kano, etc, Ooni, Alaafin, RCCG General Oversear, Winners Papa, Deeper Life GO, etc, Igbos don't have such influencers reason they say "Igbo enweghi eze" meaning "Igbos do not have king", which can be translated as Igbos are hardly influenced by one figure, they are democratic and mostly have their individual opinions which is a disadvantage to Igbos in Nigerian politics but Nnamdi Kanu's emergence changed that to an extent and it's because Kanu was fighting for a cause sacrosanct to most Igbos and it's because of what Igbos lost to the civil war. Another person that did excellently in pulling majority of Igbos together to his side was Peter Obi, even Nnamdi Azikiwe with all his political might and influence couldn't achieve the cohesive Nnamdi Kanu and Peter Obi enjoyed among the Igbos. So that's why Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership election always get influenced by federal powers, its beyond emotional rants, its purely political 1 Like |

muykem:Like I said, I am too big and too advanced to be fighting with you online when I don't even know your true personality or calibre. At least if we were arguing in real life, I would have known your personality and caliber to know how exactly to engage you or ignore you, but since it's a faceless forum, let's continue like that lol This is beyond emotional rants, it's about politics. Nnamdi Kanu proved people like you wrong that Igbos are divided. Peter Obi also proved people like you wrong that Igbos are never united politically. Igbos are only divided when they don't fancy or trust the person leading them. If they perceive you as a corrupt and compromised person, they will never follow you massively, you will have a divided Igbo . Yes most of the Igbos visible in Nigerian politics are usually compromised persons who are mostly planted and projected/protected by the corrupt Nigerian state to make sure Igbos remain subjugated since the end of the civil war. You have a point, a lot of harm was done to the Igbos politically after the end of the civil and it was to ensure Igbos do not come together again to challenge the Nigerian state, so you have a point and that is why those that have been controlling federal power since the end of the civil war in Nigeria made sure mostly corrupt persons emerged as representatives of Igbos in politics, but things are gradually changing and I pray it continues. So you are right, in most political matters in Nigeria, Igbos are always divided and it's because the Nigerian state have made sure only the most corrupt Igbos are projected and protected to represent Igbos politically. It happened in Imo state to the shock of the whole world. Time will change that |

Who ever likes let him represent that office. Infact let him hang seyi head on the main bridge. The SE will never vote him.His name is even a taboo to be mentioned during campaign. We only vote competency and integrity. Go tell his to stop wasting his time. And he should be ready for a free and fair elections to all or nigeria will burn this time. The youths will defend thr vote with thr blood unless they want the military back which will be better option. The rubbish of go to corrupt judiciary will never happen. All youths will be going to polling units prepared for inec to do the right things in electoral law .Any official who refuses will never live to tell the story
