All these companies assembling cars, who told you it would work here?

Majority of Nigerians can't even afford 2022 model tokunbo Toyota talk more of the latest models of these brand new cars.

Anyway, good luck to Abians. As our neighbour, their success is ours too.

Let them produce first for those who can afford it. The next steps will be to produce parts locally. We shall get there as a Country

Great news.
We need viable economic competition to move the country forward economically especially the state and region where these economic activities are taking place.

Innoson.
Roxettes.
Proforce.
JAC (not GAC owned by Chinrse).
Nord.
Saglev.

Kudos.

Great move by the Abia born Roxettes CEO.. this is what we want happening in every state and region. Positive development, not violence or other social vices.

Always a fool typing rubbish.

If itโ€™s made in Nigeria, itโ€™s a Nigerian product. End of story.

Get that into your thick head.

If only government can patronise them. It is only the government (federal, state and local) that can afford brand new cars

Why are you people not condemning him for setting up car assembly plant, when innoson has already in Nnewi. You guys were crying the other day about dangote setting up same factory in Lagos. Hypocrisy is really affecting you guys. You hate competition and cry when others not from your region rolls out product similar to yours.

Even Nigerians that can afford new cars would rather buy a Toyota, Nissan or one of the Korean twins (kia and Hyundai) than buy rebadged Chinese products.

Otti is a genuinely a good leader. He said nobody should put his name on any project he does because itโ€™s strictly for the people and not for him to glorify himself.

But it will provide jobs. Plus donโ€™t you think that one day they will design their own from scratch based on the technical knowledge and experience that they gained from the Chinese.
