I submitted Investment bound and my commercial statement for my application and this is the response i got from the Visa officer

Specifically, I have concerns that you have sufficient finances readily available to cover your
tuition and living costs while studying in Canada because have provided proof of funds
(investments, bank statement) from a microfinance institution and not from a commercial bank.
As per the Central Bank of Nigeria, “microfinance is about providing financial services to the
poor who are traditionally not served by the conventional financial institutions”. Furthermore,
Nigerian laws governing microfinance banks (MFBs) are restricted from engaging in foreign
currency transactions/overseas transfers. Please provide proof of funds/bank statements from a
commercial bank.
Please note that if it is found that you have engaged in misrepresentation in submitting your
application, you would be inissible to Canada for a period of five years according to
subsection 40(2)(a):

Sorry for the PFL, you need to move the funds to your commercial bank and send a statement to IRCC
Get a letter from the MFB proving that you own the funds.
Write a letter of explanation on why you had the funds in a MFB

You will to explain how the 24m was raised i.e the source of the money and explain why it is in an investment and how it will be available to you when you need it.

Please, I need some advice from you guys. I submitted my application May 19, 2023. After waiting for 6 weeks without hearing from them, I sent a mail to Nairobi on July 4th, and they responded July 7th that my application is still under active review and that they assure me that the commission will do their best to conclude the review within shortest possible time, but that they could not give a time frame right then. A day letter, upfront medical was updated to on my GCKEY .

Considering that my study begins September 07, 2023, when is appropriate for me to write them again concerning my application? Time is my major issue here.

Does your program have a Co-op/internship? If yes, you can the page of your acceptance letter that has the Co-op letter. If not, then go back to the questionnaire on your visa application portal, and choose 'No' for the part that asked if work is an essential component of your study.
