A member of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Buba Galadima has claimed that Nigerians clamouring for the party’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso to be the running mate of his (Kwankwaso) Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi are not politicians.

Galadima made the claim on Monday while featuring on Arise Television’ Morning Show.

According to him, the Kwankwasian movement has been in force for the past 32 years, while that of Peter Obi started just two months ago, stressing that there is no way the NNPP candidate can deputize Obi.

He said, “Those who said Chief Peter Obi could not be Kwankwaso’s running mate are not politicians.

“They just started a movement two months ago while the Kwankwasian movement has been on ground for 32 years and the primary reason for the movement is for Kwankwaso to become President.

“No Nigerian has ever performed well while in office like Alhaji Kwankwaso. I understand that Peter Obi was the governor of Anambra State and he did his best but not like Kwankwaso.”

He argued that Kwankwaso has more educational qualifications than any other presidential candidate of any political party

Obi will get another popular person to be his running mate. Kwankwaso is not the only politician available. Obi's presidency is what Nigeria needs at the moment.

Let the two of them, Obi and Kwakwanso debate on pressing issues and whoever wins the debate gets to be the president while the other will be his vice.

The wellbeing of the country and Nigerians should be of paramount importance over sentiment towards any particular person or region

Kwankwaso can only harm atiku and tinubu's ambition because that's where they are hoping to get block votes from. NE and NW aside that SS SE are no go areas and NC is a free for all contest

Peter obi is Igbo agenda just as Tinubu is muric/Yoruba Muslim agenda, while Atiku and Kwankwaso are hausa-fulani supremacist agenda.

kwakwanso movement is restricted to only some part of the northwestern states while peter obi's movement cuts across every region of Nigeria.

Kwakwanso is influential but right now peter obi is more than him, he should come down from his high horse and negotiate properly with the labour party.

They know the truth but are just testing the waters to gauge the reaction of Nigerians. Deep down they know they need Obi more than Obi needs them. Obi is an idea whose time has come. With or without Kwankwaso he will get there.

At this level where they have plunged the nation into, this man is talking about who is a better politician. We don't need politicians again. What we need is who will fix this country. The politicians have messed up the country.
