Instead of silencing lawmakers like Senator Ndume, who are voicing legitimate concerns, the presidency should focus on governing the country with integrity, transparency, and ability. Leadership isn’t about suppressing criticism, it’s about rising above it and delivering results.

It’s deeply ironic that the same presidency which couldn’t tolerate criticism now that they are in power was once relentless in attacking the Goodluck Jonathan istration when they were in the opposition.

Back then, they enjoyed the freedom to speak, protest, and even spread propaganda unchecked. But now, any dissent or honest opinion is labeled as “reckless.” What happened to freedom of expression?

Everyone's busy trying to please the powerful. One man’s ego is more important than an entire country. How did we let it get this bad?

Mynd44:

When you commit a crime and you are chased by authorities in an attempt to arrest/stop you from being a further threat to other motorists, the fault from whatever happens is yours not the authorities chasing you. You don't seem to understand the dangers of driving against traffic until someone close to you is knocked down by one of them. How are you even sure the clown on one way isn't a terrorist, armed robber or drunk driving? Now the method of attempting to shot down the tires was very wrong as you can miss or risk the car turning over and hitting others so other law enforcement should be engaged to block the road further up front and arrest the culprit.

Perhaps you miss that the driver in a bid to get away rammed 2 or 3 place vehicles, if you were an officer there will you believe the driver to be harmless person trying to get home or someone with criminal intent.

There is a reason police authorities don't always prosecute officers and this is one.

You talk about the suspect as if every traffic violator is a terrorist or armed robber, that’s pure fear mongering. Not every person going against traffic is a bloodthirsty criminal. Sometimes they’re reckless, sometimes panicked, sometimes just stupid. But law enforcement has a duty to assess, de-escalate, and act proportionately, not to turn public roads into action movie sets where missed bullets and flipped cars are “acceptable risks.”

Claiming that officers shouldn't be held able because the suspect "started it" is the kind of logic that excuses brutality and systemic abuse. The fact that someone broke the law doesn't mean the police are suddenly above it. And the kicker? You it the method of stopping the vehicle was dangerous, then still go on to defend the officers and the system that enables this recklessness. You can't have it both ways. If law enforcement actions risk more harm than the suspect's behavior, then they are part of the problem, not the solution.

Our educational system faces numerous challenges, but when the integrity of the examination body comes into question, it signals a far more serious issue. How can we determine whether past failures were due to systemic shortcomings or technical errors? And who will take responsibility for reviewing the exams from those years?

Nice one. The government deserves praise when it performs well and should receive constructive criticism when necessary. In this case, they merit commendation.

Good afternoon house

My inverter setup is as follows: a 3.5kVA inverter with two Luminous tubular batteries. I have three 555W Jinko solar s connected in parallel to an old 60A Modern Felicity charge controller. 6mm copper wire from the s to the charge controller. However, the cables(6mm) from the charge controller to the batteries tend to get warm, and sometimes even hot. What could be causing this, and is there any solution?

VDM is locked up for days without charge, but EFCC can’t touch Yahaya Bello, Sadiya Farouq, or Betta Edu despite serious corruption claims. That’s not justice. That’s oppression. When truth tellers are jailed and the corrupt are protected, Nigeria isn’t just broken,it’s bleeding.

VDM has been held for days without charge, yet the EFCC can't lay a finger on Yahaya Bello, Sadiya Umar Farouq, or Betta Edu despite mountains of corruption allegations. How is that justice? I see it as oppression. Silencing truth while shielding the powerful is the clearest sign that Nigeria isn’t just broken. It's bleeding
